1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Mama's Ride mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to all terms, you may not access or use the application or related services.

2. Scope of Service: Intermediary Platform

Mama's Ride operates a technology platform ("the App") that connects verified drivers ("Captains") with parents/guardians for scheduled and real-time child transportation. Mama's Ride is an intermediary platform. The App facilitates the connection between customers and independent Captains; the actual transportation service is provided by the Captain, not by Mama's Ride directly. Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as making Mama's Ride the employer of any Captain or the direct provider of transportation services.

3. Safety & Video Monitoring Agreement

To ensure the maximum safety and security of all passengers, children, and Captains:

• In-Cabin Video Recording: By booking a ride, you explicitly consent and grant permission for video recording inside the vehicle during transit.

• Operational Window: Automated in-car cameras begin recording automatically upon trip initiation and power off immediately upon trip completion. Captains are strictly prohibited from tampering with, obscuring, or disabling recording equipment.

• Retention & Storage: Video footage is encrypted and stored locally on secure in-vehicle SD cards. Recordings are retained for a maximum of 14 to 30 days, after which footage is automatically deleted or overwritten, unless an active safety incident or legal claim requires extended retention.

• Footage Access: Live streaming video access is restricted exclusively to the primary account holder (parent/guardian) during active trips. Recorded footage is only uploaded to secure cloud storage and accessed by authorized Mama's Ride safety team personnel in the event of a reported accident, emergency, or formal safety dispute.

4. User Responsibilities & Conduct

• Account holders must provide accurate profile, payment, and emergency contact information for all registered children.

• Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that minors are ready at the designated pickup location at the scheduled time.

• Parents/guardians are responsible for the accuracy of pickup/drop-off instructions and for designating only authorized adults to receive the child at drop-off.

5. Driver Verification & Safety Standards

All Captains undergo background checks, vehicle inspections, and specialized safety training prior to onboarding. Mama's Ride applies its approved quality and safety standards in its capacity as an intermediary platform, including taking reasonable steps to verify Captain competence and ongoing compliance with company and regulatory standards. Mama's Ride reserves the right to terminate driver or rider access at any time for violation of safety protocols.

6. Disclaimers; Limitation of Liability

Because Mama's Ride functions as an intermediary connecting customers with independently operating Captains, Mama's Ride's role is limited to facilitating that connection and applying its safety-verification process described in Section 5. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Egyptian law:

• Mama's Ride does not guarantee that transportation services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely free of risk.

• Should a customer experience harm, loss, or damage arising from a ride booked through the App, Mama's Ride will promptly provide reasonable support and cooperation (including trip records and, where applicable, video footage under Section 3) to help the customer pursue appropriate action against the responsible Captain, who bears primary responsibility for the service delivered.

• The customer acknowledges that Mama's Ride providing this support and cooperation represents the full extent of Mama's Ride's responsibility in connection with such incidents, except where liability cannot be limited or excluded under mandatory Egyptian consumer-protection or transport law.

• In no event shall Mama's Ride, its officers, directors, or employees be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.

7. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Mama's Ride and its officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

8. Data Privacy

Personal data and video footage collected through the App are processed strictly in accordance with our Privacy Policy and local data protection regulations. Personal information will never be sold or shared with unauthorized third parties.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Egypt.
